Amazing restaurant in an older part of the city, seems to be family run for many years and the food quality is outstanding. The lasagna was some of the best I've ever had. Make sure you come by here to have some fantastic food and quality service.

The super cosy atmosphere of a family run place with two elderly owners supervising the young waiter was borderline cliché in the most positive way imaginable. There are only a few options in each category (antipasti, primi, secondi, dolce) but enough for everyone to pick something they might like. We had the pickled anchovies, lasagna and pasta with tomato sauce. The highlight was the lemon sorbet inside the actual lemon as is usual around Napoli.- Tipo di pasto

After a long day in Capri, we went to this restaurant for dinner, and I have to say—it was the perfect way to end the day. The waiter was incredibly kind, and the atmosphere felt truly authentic and family-oriented, which makes sense since it’s run by a family. The food was delicious, perfectly seasoned, and the portions were just right. Both the prices and the portion sizes were very fair. Compared to many tourist-trap spots in the city center, this place offers a peaceful meal without anyone pushing you to order more.
P.S.: Don’t be put off by the neighborhood if it looks a bit rough at first—we hesitated too, but it was absolutely worth it! 😊- Tipo di pasto

Trattoria da Giovanni in Napoli. If you are a foodie and want to try an amazing meal at a very reasonable price ... try this 4th generation family run restaurant that's been around since 1936. You will be greated by the grandmother, the son is the chef, served by Antonio (who we thought was the grandson but maybe not ....but he just graduated and wants to go to school to be a chef) and pay the bill with the grandfather. We had the lasagna and seafood linguine and finished with the Tiramisu. Going again tomorrow night as our lunch today at the hotel was 2x the price of our diner here! And honestly the food was so good we want to try more of the menu. I helped my family run restaurants so I can say this place is special!
Day 2 additional notes... came a second night. We started with a mixed salad with a simple salt and oil dressing. Who knew such simple ingredients would be so good! My wife had to have the lasagna again. I had the Fettuccine alla Bolognese (incredible) and the Cotoletta alla Milanese [like a schnitzel) and cooked to perfection. Second night and we had to have the best Tiramisu we have ever had... again! Support a generational family business with quality authentic food at incredible prices!- Tipo di pasto

One of the best meals we had in Naples. The bruschetta with tomatoes was incredible, and we added the marinated fish on top — game changer. The puttanesca pasta was bold, perfectly cooked, and unforgettable. Fresh grilled fish sealed the deal. Simple, local, and full of soul.
Wonderful place with soul and family atmosphere. Lovely multi-generational staff. Everything we ate was delicious, tiramisu was the best I've had. I regret that we only discovered the place at the end of our stay.

We also enjoyed the grilled eggplant, fresh salad with olive oil, and the basket of warm, crusty bread that came with the meal. Everything felt homemade and full of flavor. The vibe is casual and cozy, perfect for a relaxed dinner.
The staff was friendly and attentive, and the checkered tablecloths gave it a charming, old-school Italian feel. Definitely recommend if you’re in the area and craving a satisfying seafood pasta!- Servizio

So they definitely try to take advantage of you if you’re obviously a tourist— they push for a tip and tack on cover charges per person and then give you more food that you didn’t ask for and then charge you for it which I normally absolutely hate. But the food was absolutely fantastic lol. Decent prices too. Nothing worst than getting hustled as a tourist and then eating bad food but considering how good the pasta and pizza was I was fine with it 😂. All in all paid like 60 euros for my wife and I including tip and all but seriously was probably the best pasta I’ve ever had. Pizza was extremely good too.- Tipo di pasto

Hidden gem in Naples, in one of the small dodgy streets close to Garibaldi square. Family business, two elderly people and their grandson Antonio, well they just make you feel at home. The interior has its charm, but the food is really good - seafood pasta, Bolognese pasta, grilled calamari, local wine, tiramisu, you name it. Prices lower than the Naples average.

The owners are very friendly, and after dining there one evening we returned again with our friends. Great experience and would defenetily come back again.
The location looks shady because of many immigrants and illicit street sellers around, but it is safe to walk around there, just not very pleasant for the eyes.- Servizio

Very delicious food and a cosy atmosphere. The reviews said the tiramisu was delicious and made in-house. I can confirm it really is delicious. Pasta was great also and mussels tasted very fresh.

Great food in a little family run restaurant. The owners, an old couple, are extremely friendly and my daughter fell in love with them. Great and quick service and the food is to die for. 2 drinks, 2 pasta dishes and antipasti set us back €25 so it's fair to say that it is price friendly.
